BREAKING! Gwendoline Christie has been cast as Lady Jane in ‘The Darkest Minds’!

The Hollywood Reporter is exclusively reporting that Gwendoline Christie has joined the cast of the adaptation of Alexandra Bracken’s The Darkest Minds. 

Gwendoline is most known for her role in Game of Thrones. Christie will be playing the role of bounty hunter Lady Jane. 

Christie will play a bounty hunter of fugitive teens who takes immense pleasure in her vicious job.

She joins the already stacked cast of Amandla Stenberg, Harris Dickinson, Miya Cech, Skylan Brooks, Mandy Moore and Patrick Gibson who’ve been announced to play Ruby Day, Liam Stewart, Zu, Chubs, Cate and Clancy. 

The film will be distributed by Fox 2000 and will be directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson. Chad Hodge wrote the script, with Shawn Levy and Dan Levine attached as producers.

BREAKING: Patrick Gibson has been Cast as Clancy in ‘The Darkest Minds’!

Deadline has reported that Patrick Gibson has been casted in the film adaptation of Alexandra Bracken’s The Darkest Minds. He will be playing the role of Clancy. If Gibson looks familiar it is because he is in the hit Netflix series The OA. 

Gibson will play the handsome and slightly narcissistic Clancy Gray, the president’s son and poster boy for rehabilitation whose portrait is displayed all over the camp. He possesses a certain power that can manipulate people’s minds and he uses that to convince those around him that he’s been healed.

Gibson joins the likes of Amandla Stenberg, Harris Dickinson, Miya Cech, Skylan Brooks and Mandy Moore who’ve been announced to play Ruby Day, Liam Stewart, Zu, Chubs and Cate.

BREAKING: Mandy Moore has Joined the Cast of “The Darkest Minds” as Cate

Big news The Darkest Minds fans. Mandy Moore has joined the cast of the film adaptation of Alex Bracken’s The Darkest Minds. She will be playing the role of Cate. 

Mandy Moore is known for her roles in Princess Diaries and her current show This Is Us. 

She joins the likes of Amandla Stenberg, Harris Dickinson, Miya Cech and Skylan Brooks have already been announced to be playing Ruby Day, Liam Stewart, Zu and Chubs.

BREAKING: Skylan Brooks will be playing Chubs in ‘The Darkest Minds’!

Skylan Brooks announced on his Instagram that he will be playing the role of our beloved Chubs in the film adaptation of The Darkest Minds. 

You can watch Skylan in ‘The Get Down’ on Netflix. 

Amandla Stenberg, Harris Dickinson and Miya Cech have already been announced to be playing Ruby Day, Liam Stewart and Zu.

BREAKING: Miya Cech cast as Zu in “Darkest Minds”!

Deadline reported that Amiya Czech has joined the cast of the Darkest Minds. She will be playing the role as Zu in the film adaptation. 

The film also star Amandla Stenberg and Harris Dickenson as Ruby Day and Liam Stewart. 20th Century Fox owns the rights. Jennifer Yuh Nelson is already set to direct and ChadHodge wrote the script, with Shawn Levy and Dan Levine attached as producers.

The Hollywood Reporter just announced that Amandla Stenberg has been casted as the main character, Ruby Daly, in The Darkest Minds film adaptation. It was announced earlier this year that Jennifer Yun Nelson will be directing the film.

If Amandla looks familiar to you, it’s because she is an up and coming actress. She starred as Rue alongside Jennifer Lawrence in The Hunger Games.

Jennifer Yuh Nelson to direct ‘The Darkest Minds’ Film Adaptation!

Some very exciting news has come our way. It has been announced that Jennifer Yuh Nelson will be directing the film adaptation of Alexandra Bracken’s The Darkest Minds. 

If you’ve seen Kung Fu Panda 2 and 3 then you are familiar with her work. 

Chad Hodge is the screenwriter for the adaptation. You may know him from Fox’s Wayward Pines. 

21 Laps will be producing the film.

‘The Darkest Minds’ Film Script is Finished! #TDM

Chad Hodge, the screenwriter for the film adaptation of Alexandra Bracken’s The Darkest Minds, has finished finally finished the script. He did not state if this was the first draft or the final draft. What we do know is that he finished it yesterday and that it is something that we should definitely be super excited about because that means that we are one step closer to seeing this film being made.

‘Passenger’ Debuts at #1 on the NYT Bestsellers List!

Alexandra Bracken’s latest book Passenger was released on January 5, 2016. The book debuted at #1 on the NYT Children’s Bestsellers list, in the Young Adult category. It is slated to appear on the 01/24/16 version of the NYT paper. A huge congratulations goes out to Alex and Disney-Hyperion.
