BREAKING! Gwendoline Christie has been cast as Lady Jane in ‘The Darkest Minds’!


The Hollywood Reporter is exclusively reporting that Gwendoline Christie has joined the cast of the adaptation of Alexandra Bracken’s The Darkest Minds. 

Gwendoline is most known for her role in Game of Thrones. Christie will be playing the role of bounty hunter Lady Jane. 

Christie will play a bounty hunter of fugitive teens who takes immense pleasure in her vicious job.

She joins the already stacked cast of Amandla Stenberg, Harris Dickinson, Miya Cech, Skylan Brooks, Mandy Moore and Patrick Gibson who’ve been announced to play Ruby Day, Liam Stewart, Zu, Chubs, Cate and Clancy. 

The film will be distributed by Fox 2000 and will be directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson. Chad Hodge wrote the script, with Shawn Levy and Dan Levine attached as producers.

Skylan Brooks announced on his Instagram that he will be playing the role of our beloved Chubs in the film adaptation of The Darkest Minds

You can watch Skylan in ‘The Get Down’ on Netflix.

BREAKING: Amandla Stenberg casted as Ruby in ‘The Darkest Minds’

Jennifer Yuh Nelson is making her live-action directorial debut with teen sci-fi project.

The Hollywood Reporter just announced that Amandla Stenberg has been casted as the main character, Ruby Daly, in The Darkest Minds film adaptation. It was announced earlier this year that Jennifer Yun Nelson will be directing the film.

If Amandla looks familiar to you, it’s because she is an up and coming actress. She starred as Rue alongside Jennifer Lawrence in The Hunger Games.

Jennifer Yuh Nelson to direct ‘The Darkest Minds’ Film Adaptation!


Some very exciting news has come our way. It has been announced that Jennifer Yuh Nelson will be directing the film adaptation of Alexandra Bracken’s The Darkest Minds. 

If you’ve seen Kung Fu Panda 2 and 3 then you are familiar with her work. 

Chad Hodge is the screenwriter for the adaptation. You may know him from Fox’s Wayward Pines. 

21 Laps will be producing the film.

Can’t wait to find out who joins the cast.

‘The Darkest Minds’ Film Script is Finished! #TDM

Chad Hodge, the screenwriter for the film adaptation of Alexandra Bracken’s The Darkest Minds, has finished finally finished the script. He did not state if this was the first draft or the final draft. What we do know is that he finished it yesterday and that it is something that we should definitely be super excited about because that means that we are one step closer to seeing this film being made.

TDM 3 title revealed: ‘In the Afterlight’

The third book in Alexandra Bracken’s The Darkest Minds series has just been revealed. Alex played a game with book vlogger @xtinemay and revealed the title through a game of charades.

The title for the third book in The Darkest Minds series is….. IN THE AFTER LIGHT!
